Blondo, Japanese Silver Grass

'BLONDO' Vigorous , one of the most winter hardy, Tall with broad leaves, excellent as a backgound or screen. Excellent fall foliage and effective all winter. Blooms early, in August in zone 5. The plumes are a silver color.

Green leaved, somewhat coarse-textured, but very cold-hardy. Grows to 6' tall in the US Midwest. Introduced by Bluebird Nursery of Nebraska.
